The Mirage album was Ry Edwards' attempt to redeem his music career after his first botched studio sessions. Ry worked 40 hour weeks (on top of a 40 hour/wk job) in his apartment trying to bring his music to life. His inexperience gave him a steep learning curve as Ry battled technical issues, and noisy neighbors above, below, and around him. Still, his tenacity increased as he strove for pefection. 

As the weeks turned to months, Ry learn new techniques out of desperation and several unintended, happy accidents ended up on the record. At the end of a grueling 6 months, Ry had learned something special through the process of birthing the album.
